“I booked Catering by Chefs services for my son’s 18th Birthday party for over 100 guests, ranging in age from 2 years to 80 years old. I, like many people, have been used to catering successfully at home over many decades. However each party or event I have organised has eventuated in me being totally stressed about the normal concerns: will there be enough food, will the oven work and what about the quality and the practicalities of preparing, storing, heating and serving?

So this time I googled caterers. I spoke directly with Phil for a considerable time discussing what I wanted for the night in terms of food and logistics. Immediately I was impressed. Phil is extremely personable, professional and flexible. Most importantly he listened to what I wanted and my plans for the evening. At no time did I feel pressured, in fact, we hit it off immediately – Phil is like having a trusted friend or family member who has everything in control without any sign of stress – he made me relax from the moment of our initial phone call, during the lead up and on the night. Phil also finished a full professional clean up of the kitchen facilities at the venue hire.

I can’t praise Phil and his team highly enough. Everyone was professional, cheery and courteous. Spotless presentation, divine, fresh and delicious finger food, creative and flexible menu selections to choose from. I still have cravings for the succulent salt and pepper calamari with herb yoghurt dressing and the exquisite caramalised onion and brie tartlets. Thanks so much Phil for your amazing catering, fun and professionalism. The night was a great success. Most importantly I relaxed for the first time, at an event I organised.
