Depending on the approximate duration of your event, you can select a number of finger food items.

Generally, 2 to 3 items per person every half an hour will keep them rolling. So, for an hour of the event, around 6 finger food items; for two hours, around 10 to 12 items; and for more than 3 hours, we recommend having a small stall with multiple options to keep the munching on.

Quotations

Following an enquiry either by email or phone call, Catering By Chefs will send a quote via email, which will remain valid for 30 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. If the event is altered in any way it may be necessary to change the original quote, depending on the changes made. All quoted prices do not include GST unless stated.

Payment Methods

Catering By Chefs accepts the following forms of payment :

• Direct deposit to our nominated account
• Visa, MasterCard and American Express (a surcharge may apply for AMEX)
• Cheques are NOT accepted

Booking And Payment Terms

• Booking an event with Catering by Chefs shall be deemed to be an acknowledgement and acceptance of our terms and conditions.
• An event booking will not be considered ‘confirmed’ until a deposit or payment has been received, and subsequently may be subject to cancellation
• The full balance of the event is due 10 days prior to the event date
• Changes to client bookings can be made up to 10 days prior to the event. This includes changes in time, menu and guest numbers.
• Final numbers will need to be provided to Catering by Chefs 10 days prior to the event.

Cancellation Policy

• The booking deposit is strictly non-refundable
• If the client cancels a function within 10 days of the event / booking date, the full balance of the event is due. No refund will be given, due to provisions already ordered and prepared

Dietary Requirements

It is the responsibility of the client to ensure that Catering By Chefs has details of any special dietary requirements or allergies that guests may have. The client must either introduce such guests to the event staff to ensure Catering By Chefs are aware of the identity of the individual or, and if a seated event, supply full name and table allocation for each such guest. While Whilst Catering By Chefs will accommodate dietary requirements where possible, no responsibility can be taken for guests with allergies that may result in serious or fatal consequences.

Catering By Chefs regards customer privacy as an important part of our relationship with our clients. The following privacy policy applies to all Catering By Chefs users, and conforms to Internet privacy standards.

Collection Of Information

In order to use the Catering By Chefs website, we may require information from you in order to provide the best service possible. All correspondence may also be collected and stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, including email. Any information collected by Catering By Chefs is collected via correspondence from client or their company. This may be via the telephone, email, mail, fax or directly through our website.

Any details collected from Catering By Chefs customers are required in order to provide you with our products and / or services, and a high level of customer service. Correspondence is recorded in order to provide service references, and to assist in our staff development. Catering By Chefs follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Catering By Chefs does not permanently retain on file credit card details of any bookings – all details are destroyed once a payment has been made for both the deposit and the full balance.
